Less Than Sober band performing at Scottish independence rally in Edinburgh. Following the march for independence through Scotland's capital city on 21/09/13 a rally took place on Calton Hill where in between the political speeches there were several musical, cultural and entertainment acts including a couple of numbers by Less Than Soberwho have been described online as a "rock/punk/pop band from Saltcoats who aim to take the music industry by storm in 2013 with their energetic sound." Hardeep Singh Kohli who along with Elaine C Smith was introducing speakers and entertainment at the pro-independence rally said of the band "What happens when you combine the musical culture of Saltcoats with the musical culture of Venezuela?
