Lulu Briggs, High Chief Abiola Ogundokun, the Oban Nla of Iwo land and Jagun P'ote of the source (Ile-Ife)paid a hearty tribute to Juju Music Legend, Chief Commander (Now Evangelist) Professor Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi (MFR) who clocked 77 on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019.Chief Abiola Adeniyi Ogundokun, a long time socialite, politician and business man was one of the first sets of eminent Nigerians who dominated special albums made by the gifted Juju music legend in the early 70s and 80s. Ogundokun was not only a fan of Ebenezer Obey, he was a friend, a close hearty friend of the Idogo, Ogun State born musician.Ogundokun is globally known as the man who brought his town Iwo into limelight courtesy the several albums done in his honor by Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi, it was his name first before Iwo in any of Ebenezer Obey's special tracks in his evergreen albums. The rope of friendship has not wane till date, as Ogundokun still keeps memories of good old times with Ebenezer Obey and that, he reeled out, in this special encounter inside his Festac Estate, Lagos mansion during a visit by our team recently.
